3 billion and a half searches are performed on Google every day.

Seriously, it does not matter what people do, seek your products and services in Google Cell phone repair
1,700 monthly searches.

"iPhone charger" :-
34,000 monthly searches.

The best "smartphone" :-
41,000 monthly searches.

And these volumes are only for India searches. But this is the matter even though there are billions of searches every day, our recent study shows 91% of the content does not receive Google traffic.
So, how do you join the other 9% of the websites and begin to receive free,

consistent and passive traffic from Google?

If you are a beginner in SEO, then you will want to see the full tutorial because I will explain you how to start attracting customers from the world's largest search engine.
"Google organic traffic"

Stay attentive.

How are you?

I'm Vinod Oswal, from Namostar, the SEO tool that helps you grow your "search traffic" , analyze your competitors and master your "niche" .

This "tutorial" is called "SEO" for beginners".

Because even if you do not have a minimum idea of what SEO is, you will have very clear and easy elements that you can implement on your website immediately. So we will cover the most important thing you should know to make sure your website is optimized for the search.

Let's start.

So, "what is SEO" ?
SEO means search engine positioning. It is the optimization process of your site and web pages to get organic traffic from free search engines like Google.

Think Google as a file system in a library. The library has billions of books with hundreds of pages trillion. So let's say you want to find something about "global warming".

Then Google is going to look in these books and extract the pages that contain your "keywords" or closely related words. But as I'm sure you know, the results of the search are not returned in random order. Try to return the most "relevant results" first using sophisticated algorithms. And they are so good at this that most of us never have to click through page 2 of the search results.

Nobody knows exactly how these algorithms work or the exact factors that they seek to position a web page, but we know many of the so-called "Google positioning factors", so we can do some optimizations.

So your work is going to be double: first, we have to make sure it is easy for search engines to understand what your page is about and create that content that matches what we call "the intention of the search engine", right?

And second, we have to show Google and other search engines that we are 'worthy' of being positioned. So throughout this tutorial, let's say I am a new "SEO services" who lives in India, Canada. I'm starting my new website design "website development" "SEO services" business called "Namostar" Yes, I'm pretty impressive...

but I do not have friends, so the recommendations are out of discussion. Very good, great..!!

The first step is to find relevant keywords that people are looking for and see how those searches fit into your business. The easiest way to start looking for relevant keywords is to put yourself in the place of a potential customer. So I would think of a girlfriend or a boyfriend looking for magic photos for the wedding I would look for "wedding photographer in India".

It makes sense,

right?

So I'll go to the Ahrefs keyword browser that is one of our SEO tools that provides Google searches data, and I will go into that search here. I will also change the country to Canada since people in other countries, probably do not look as often a photographer based in India.

Now, I'll do the search. And you can see that there are only about 60 monthly searches of this keyword which is far from exciting. But looking down, you will see that the main theme for our consultation is different.

The main topic determines whether you can position for your target keyword, which we originally entered here, while guiding a more general topic. In that case, the main theme shows what people are looking for most, "India Wedding Photographer" who, "Wedding Photographer in india".

Now, if we travel to the end of the page, you can see the first 10 Google positions for your key keyword and many keyword metrics. I'm going to talk about two of them in this video: Traffic and keywords. Take a look at these two classification pages. You can see that you generate more than a thousand search visitors each month and next to that, you will see that each page positions individually for hundreds of keywords.

If we click on the keywords, you can see all the different keywords and the ranking positions in the Google search. This is a good thing because you already know that Google is positioning this one page for all the keywords, so, why can not you position these keywords and maybe even more? Try to remember this part, because we are going to explore the use of keywords several times during this tutorial. Very well, now that we have a list of keywords, it is time to optimize your pages.
In the world of search engine optimization, this is called "SEO on-page". Know the keywords that are searched on Google, it gives us clues about the language we should use so that Google and potential customers know what the page is about. For example.

But I need to leave two very clear things: First of all, you do not have to use your exact keyword since Google has become very smart understanding what your page is about. And second, it is very important to keep in mind that you should not try to cheat Google using keywords where they do not belong.
Your main priority should be to optimize for people because as far as I know, robots are not going to pay for your services. Here is an example of what you should not do: "I am a Toronto wedding photographer photographing wedding in Toronto for your wedding in india." This is known as stuffing keywords and in a few words, it is more bad than good.
So, what is the key?

Do not do it. For an SEO on-page, I want to mention four basic, but important, you can use on each page you optimize. The first thing is to optimize title labels and target descriptions. When you look at the Google search results, you will see this part in blue and the text below. The upper part is called title label and the other part is the goal description.

The purpose of this is to attract someone to click on your page. And if people click on your page, that tells Google that your page is relevant for the reason why they did the search, right? And you can see that Google actually even puts in bold those keywords and similar ones within the search results, which makes them excel. With that in mind, I could create a title like, "Wedding Photographer awarded in india". And then the brand name. But, of course, if you are going to do something like that, it must be true.

Then, for the goal description, you can explain in a couple of brief phrases what the page is about. But instead of putting a generic description that everyone else does, calling themselves the best, you can put something like:

Oh was rated as the best star wedding photographer in india. It combines creativity with science to capture the happiest day of life in How sweet is that? This would make me, like a consumer, want to find out who is that incredible photographer. The last part of the optimization of a page is the most important and is the actual content of the page.

For a typical home page of wedding photography, I could have some images, a short section "About us" or "About me", probably the services I offer, and some happy boyfriends testimonies. Without complicating things too much, it is likely that you want to use your main key phrase in the main header, usually called H1 label.
And looking at one of the first pages of the ranking, you will see that they did right here. An example of what you probably should not do is: Hello everyone.

The H1 or header label says, "Hello everyone", which does not help anyone understand what the page is about. And remember, your work is to help Google better identify your page as relevant to the user's search. I will return to the "organic keyword" report in Ahrefs to see the keyword classification of one of my competitors and see if there are other ideas that could help Google understand better what my page is about.

You can see some other relevant keywords here as a girlfriend, photos, and GTA, which refers to the India metropolitan area. So while you write the copy for your page, you may want to have this in mind and spread them where it makes sense and that visitors can read them naturally. Let's take this example of Namostar SEO one step further. Let's say my business is growing, I have much more experience behind my back and discovered that I have some crazy skills in areas such as landscapes, portraits, travel, "product photography".

So I decided, hey, I'm going to offer those services too! Instead of trying to position my home page in keywords that are not exactly related, you could easily create new service pages. So I would do the same coming first to the browser of keywords of Ahrefs.

Then I write something like "India product photographer", and I quickly look at the search volume and I see that it has about 100 monthly searches in India. Then I took a look at the main theme that has around 200 searches. And here is a quick, but very interesting, note on the margin. With wedding photographers, people seem to look for "India wedding photographer" most of the time. While people seeking photographers of products in India seek, "Photograph of products in India." Therefore, this step is vital to make sure you are orienting the keywords will provide the greatest exposure for your pages.

So for our service page, we will do the same as we did before with the title the meta description and content of the page. The last thing you should do is include primary key phrase in the URL of the page. So for a product photo page page, the final URL could see yourself like this: If you are a WordPress user, you can click here and edit it using scripts to separate spaces. So in this case, I would change it to product-photography-india.

A very fast trick that you can do is look at the top 10 of the positions and see how they optimized those pages to classify there. So if we look at Google's search results for, "Product photography in india", you can see that some pages are stuffing keywords on title labels and that target descriptions are very cheesis or truncated. By clicking on this result, you can see that it is only a classified site, similar to Craigslist, so it is clearly not optimized. By clicking on this, you can see that you included your key phrase on header and title labels, but then there are almost no content on the rest of the page.

And then by clicking on this one, it seems to be optimized for your target keyword. And if I do a "search" for the word "photo". You can see more than 110 examples on this page that, again, it will be shorter than good long-term. What you are seeing here is an opportunity to overcome the results of the search.

Basically,
Google has no other option than to choose the best options from a bad group group. Very well, at this point, we optimize our main pages for our different services, and we have covered the basics of SEO on-page.

And if you did this for all your key pages, then I can assure you that you are far ahead of many of your competitors. The next part and possibly the most important piece of high classification in Google is SEO off page.

SEO Off Page often refers to the construction of links. And the construction of links is the process of obtaining other websites to link to your web pages. Basically, the links act as votes or other people answering for your website saying: "Hey, these people are very good at what it does and trust them enough to send my visitors to your website." It works in a similar way that you recommend you to buy a product of whatever it is because you tried it, you used it and you loved it. In general, the greater the quality of the incoming links you can get from the relevant pages, the greater the positioning in Google.

Now I am putting the emphasis here in the word "quality", because there are many different types of links that can be achieved in forums, directories and editorial links to name a few. But if you think about it, a place like a forum where practically anyone can place a link probably will have less value than a link in another person's blog.

But so that it is clear, other types of links still have some kind of value, but probably not as much as publishers. So if you concentrate on quality, you will probably want to prioritize editorial links.
And the main way to get links in other people's blogs is through something that SEOS often call "diffusion". And the diffusion is exactly what it seems. You are contacting people and asking for a link. But you can not write to someone and tell him: "Hi, I need a link. Engage it". It does not work that way.
You need three things for your broadcast campaigns to be more successful.

1. You need people who are interested in what you do.

2. You need a good reason to contact them.

3. You need a hook that somehow benefits them. Let's see some examples,
yes?

First we have to identify people who are interested in what you are doing. The most common in the context of link construction are websites that already link with your competitors.

You can find these pages by going to the Ahrefs Explorer and enter a domain or URL. So I'm going to enter Namostar.com, (for example) which also makes wedding photograph in india. I will also reduce our search to pages that are linked to your home page. From here, I can click on the Backlinks option in the column on the left. And here, I will use this filter to reduce backlinks only to links within the content, since I mentioned that I want to get some editorial links.

On the left side, you can see the websites that were linked with the URL or the destination domain and on the right, you can see what page linked and the backlink context. Next, we are going to click on "Amazing wedding flower ideas".

You can see that there are many photos of flowers. And in fact, I have a great one that is much better than all these. So let's check that on our checklist for a successful scope. Now we have a leaflet. So I can contact the author, Nicole, to talk about one of my photos that was published in a kind of wedding magazine, because it is so incredible.

So this now meets the second box we have a good reason to contact her because we have something relevant to her. And of course, I would be giving you rights to publish my photo, which also marks the third box. As a note on the margin, that does not mean that you will publish my photo or give me a link. As a general rule, the better excuse you occur to contact with the author, the greater your chance to get the link. Another good reason to contact someone is to offer a guest publication.

Blog owners are always hunting for content and as your site is new, you can be in front of another person's audience in exchange for something of your time and content where you could easily use some photos of you with watermarks. With guest publications, your reason for contacting them is quite reasonable and you will be providing free content, which benefits them and / or their websites.

The next broadcast you can find is in a non-competitive lateral niche. So as a wedding photographer, you may want to contact florists, lounges and local wedding organizers. If you look at the article by "Jaw Dropping Flowers" you can see that it mentions two people. It is mango Studios, which is the site we are analyzing, and an event planning and design company. You can contact these people to form significant relationships.

Just think about it one second. Your business goes hand in hand and you can spend the recommendations to each other, you can link as a 'preferred' provider or link in the content of others with relevant publications. And this is not limited to local companies. This applies to everyone. So, find some solid partners that are the same trip as you in a lateral niche and help each other.

Now with the construction of links, there are numerous tactics and strategies, so if you want to expand your knowledge in this area, I recommend seeing our series of link construction where you will get a full range of how to do it effectively. Well, we are in the last Council of SEO that I see avoiding many beginners.

Now, if you have something to sell assembling your home page and pages of products / services is probably the first thing you will do or you did and for a good reason. These are the pages that will generate potential customers and income directly for your business. But here is the last tip: it starts writing on your blog.

Now, I'm not telling you you write about how you changed the sign of your red to green store. By blogging, I mean practical content that can help and help your potential customers solve their problems. In the book of Dr. Jonah Berger, contagious: "Why things become fashionable," he shares his research on why the content gains popularity and even becomes viral. Contents that provide a "practical value".

It was one of the key factors for success. People not only share funny videos of cats or emotional stories. They share things that help others. And the same happens with obtaining links. People are more likely to link your content if it is useful, processable and solves a problem.

Look what we do for the Ahrefs blog. We have numerous SEO tools, but we address important issues such as the search for keywords and construction of links. And even if you do not use our tools, you want a ton of value through these monstrous items. But you will see that we include shortcuts or hacks where our tool can make SEO easier. To try my point of view, if you look at the report of the "Superior Pages" within the Explorer, you will see that the pages that generate the greatest search traffic, comes above all from the items of our blog.

Blogs allow you to reach great audiences. For example, we saw that wedding photographer in india had about 900 monthly searches in india. Let's look for something like "Places for Wedding in india" in the keyword browser. You can see that it has about more than 1,400 monthly searches in India. If you have been in the wedding photography, enough time, then you probably took pictures in several places.

So you could create an item with useful and practical value.
For example,
you could create an article about some of the best places I have photographed and show pieces of my portfolio at the blog entrance. It would also detail the pros and cons of each place, price information, location details, the catering menu, or anything else that was genuinely useful for a person who visits this page.

And if you think about it, people usually reserve the place before the photographer. So there is a solid possibility that after people see some of your impressive photos with watermark, they could check your portfolio, and contact you for a quote that could generate more customers.
And if you think about it, they could never have discovered through a different medium because they did not write a keyword as a "wedding photographer in India", nor their friends did not recommend you.

When you are thinking about these ideas, get in the place of who are looking for.
What would you be looking for and that would help them solve the search?

Now, when you choose topics, try to stay with those who give value to your business.
So as a photographer, I wanted to show my job almost always because my portfolio judged me. As a software company, we explain how our tools can help in the SEO process because people will buy tools if they see how it benefits them.
As coffee toaster, you could show you how to make the perfect coffee cup or an item on how toast beans.

I can not emphasize enough, how much a "blog" can help you boost your SEO efforts. It is a great way to anticipate your "competitors" who have been in the game for longer but have been pointing only to the 'obvious' keywords.

From here,

you just have to process and repeat the keyword research process, tips for optimizing a page and continuously built links to your content and articles and start climbing in Google's search ranking.

We have many really useful Article's where we expanded on these topics, so I will leave the links inside this article.

Make sure you "subscribe" NAMOSTAR to see seo and "marketing tutorials" and if you have any touch do not hesitate to leave a "comment" and I will be happy to "help".
